About the Author

Sean Kang is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Dartmouth College. He completed a Ph.D. at Washington University in St. Louis and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. His research focuses on human learning and memory, often with an explicit consideration for how the findings can be applied to enhance education, and includes topics such as test-enhanced learning, spaced/interleaved practice, metacognition, and the role of errors in learning.
